Ever wanted to shape the future of HR tech? 🚀 Totem is looking for frontend wizards to craft the systems behind our revolutionary platform. You’ll be key in building and maintaining our client applications, ensuring our users have a seamless experience as we scale globally.

Our tech stack? Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL and Redis. Do you speak GraphQL? Awesome! Got experience with big data, (generative) AI and LLMs? That’s a big bonus!

Your Mission

Are you a tech enthusiast with a knack for problem-solving and a love for clean, efficient code? 🌟 Totem is on the lookout for talented individuals to join our dynamic team. You’ll be diving into a tech stack that includes Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, powered by Kubernetes and runs on AWS and/or GCP cloud.

Your strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be crucial as we scale our platform. Plus, if you thrive in a collaborative environment and can work independently, we want to hear from you!
You'll be working with various stakeholders to define, architect, build and maintain the backend systems powering the client apps. Your mission to make sure our global users enjoy a seamless experience by scaling our stack to deliver top-notch performance. Next to that, you'll be building and maintaining the integrations with external data providers.

Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL and Redis with a solid understanding of modern programming paradigms
• Comfort in working both independently and collaboratively within a team • Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, energetic environment
• Analytical approach with a strong sense of ownership, capable of diagnosing technical problems, debugging code, and automating routine tasks
• Solid grasp of software engineering practices: modern design patterns, test-driven development, continuous integration and continuous deployment • Experience with Kubernetes on AWS/GCP, ensuring scalability and reliability of our software platform • Got experience with big data, (generative) AI, and LLMs? That’s a big bonus!
